<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flare processing dimension measuring jig enabling easy measurement to determine whether or not an outer diameter of an open end of a flare part formed through flare processing has a regulated dimension. <P>SOLUTION: A flare processing dimension measuring jig 10 includes: a cylindrical-part fitting part 24 that fits in a cylindrical part 14 of a refrigerant copper pipe 12; and a flare-part contact part 28 that is connected to the cylindrical-part fitting part 24 and is formed in a manner corresponding to a flare part 16 of the refrigerant copper pipe 12 and whose surface comes into contact with a surface of the flare part 16. A surface of the flare-part contact part 28 that comes into contact with the surface of the flare part 16 is provided, in a visually identifiable manner, with: an area where an open end 18 with a standard A dimension in the flare part 16 comes into contact; and an area where the open end 18 with a dimension smaller than the A dimension in the flare part 16 comes into contact. This constitution enables easy measurement to determine whether or not a flare processing dimension is within the standard A dimension, by placing the jig 10 in the flare part 16 of the refrigerant copper pipe 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
