<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make more appropriate displaying of a battery state of charge and appropriately coordinate the displaying with vehicle behaviors. <P>SOLUTION: An electric car battery state of charge displaying device 20 comprises a lower limit SOC setter 32 that acquires lower limit SOC varying in an upward trend when a prescribed required output can be generated from a battery 11 and with a drop in temperature; an upper limit SOC setter 34 that sets an upper limit SOC for restraining deterioration of battery cells 11; a usable remaining SOC calculator 33 that calculates the difference between the lowest SOC of a plurality of battery cells 11a and the lower limit SOC to be a usable remaining SOC; a usable total SOC calculator 35 that calculates a usable total SOC by adding the usable remaining SOC and the difference between the upper limit SOC and the highest SOC of the plurality of battery cells 11a; a displayable SOC calculator 36 that calculates the ratio of the usable remaining SOC to the usable total SOC to be a displayable SOC; and a display unit 17 that displays the displayable SOC. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
