<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a set top box, shutter glasses and a method for allowing respective users to watch respective preferred programs simultaneously. <P>SOLUTION: The invention provides a set top box, shutter glasses and a method for allowing respective users to watch respective preferred programs simultaneously. According to the set top box, the shutter glasses, and the method for allowing respective users to watch respective programs simultaneously, frames of a program selected by a plurality of users is crossed and then multiplexed to be displayed on a video play appliance, and simultaneously, on/off of a lens switch of shutter glasses is controlled.
