CRYSTAL OSCILLATOR

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a GT-cut crystal oscillator capable of being provided with a supporting part with a compact and simple structure without adversely affecting its oscillation characteristics.

SOLUTION: A GT-cut crystal plate 31 is formed into an elliptic shape. The long axis and the short axis of the elliptic plate are aligned with oscillation directions (X" axis direction and Z" axis direction) of two longitudinal oscillation modes orthogonal to each other in a GT-cut. A support part(s) supporting the crystal plate 31 is/are connected to one or a plurality of points among the points (P1to P4) where the oscillation displacement at the outer periphery of the crystal plate 31 becomes minimum when the two longitudinal oscillation modes are combined.
