<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a polarizer which has little scar, wrinkle, or stripe, no folding line, and is excellent in appearance. <P>SOLUTION: In performing swelling conditioning, dyeing processing, and crosslinking treatment to a polyvinyl alcohol system film 2, in at least one of the processing, at least one widening roll 1 is used as a guide roll in treating bath to perform stretching, and the spreader roll is placed so that a position the polyvinyl alcohol system film 2 is away from the widening roll 1 satisfies equation (1) -40°≤θ≤40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
