<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copper discoloration preventing solution, which prevents oxidative discoloration of copper in an electronic component material having copper or copper alloy or the like to enhance the reliability of the electronic component material. <P>SOLUTION: The copper discoloration preventing solution includes an 1-4C lower alkyl-substituted or unsubstituted benzotriazole compound and a copper salt of carboxylic acid or copper carbonate, and is acidic or neutral. As the 1-4C lower alkyl-substituted or unsubstituted benzotriazole compound, one or more benzotriazole compounds selected from 1-methyl-1H-benzotriazole, 5-methyl-1H-benzotriazole, 2-methyl-2H-benzotriazole, 5,6-dimethyl-1H-benzotriazole, and 1,2,3-benzotriazole are preferred. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
