<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coaxial cable improved in flex resistance, shape retention property after flexure or the like, and a cable harness formed using the coaxial cable. <P>SOLUTION: A coaxial cable 1 includes an inner conductor 2, an insulation layer 3, an outer conductor 4 (wire 4a) and a metal layer 5. The metal layer 5 comprises a metal wire 5a having a cross-sectional shape other than a circular shape, a width larger than an outer diameter of the wire 4a, and a thickness smaller than the outer diameter of the wire 4a.
