<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generating set enabling reduction in a size and using a piezoelectric effect. <P>SOLUTION: In a generating set, a first piezoelectric element formed of a piezoelectric material is deformed by external force and electric charges generated in the first piezoelectric element are taken out as electric current. Deformation amount of a deformation member having the first piezoelectric element is detected, and when the deformation amount becomes a predetermined size or larger, a pair of electrodes installed in the first piezoelectric element are short-circuited. As a result, deformation of the first piezoelectric element is suppressed, and thereby, more-than-expected deformation of the deformation member is suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
