<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air diffusion cylinder which prevents air diffusion holes from clogging, and achieves the reduction of pressure loss, and an aerobic tank provided therewith. <P>SOLUTION: In the air diffusion cylinder 5 provided alongside with a plurality of air diffusion holes S in the axis direction and around the axis, with regard to the sum of the opening areas of air diffusion holes S disposed plurally alongside in the axis direction at any given position in the direction around the axis, the sum of the opening areas of a row downside in the vertical direction when setting the air diffusion cylinder 5 is greater than the sum of the opening areas of a row upper side. Thus, it is easy for the air diffusion cylinder 5 to bubble from the downside air diffusion holes S where the hydraulic pressure is high so as to bubble with a similar extent as the upper side where the hydraulic pressure is low, whereby bubbling is even all over the air diffusion area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
