PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that because a high pressure nip includes very few contact points or projections between a disc and an idler and has basically one radius and a very high pressure owing to these contact points or projections between the disc and the idler to result in effective removal of relative movements, the high pressure produces markings on a medium, especially on a coated sheet, although the high pressure is necessary for slip prevention.
SOLUTION: An improved rotor/conveyor mechanism includes a plurality of thin disks 105, 106, 101, 102 which produce the same linear speed in nips by applying the pressures of the nips in conjunction with idler rolls and spinning at different rotational speeds, reducing markings on a fixed amount of mediums.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
