<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foaming agent capable of making a flow self-curing mold free of fall of sand and providing predetermined strength without causing swelling, and kept in a liquid-like form without degrading a foaming property and foam stability nor degrading uniformity of an effective constituent even in a low-temperature region (for instance, 0-5°C). <P>SOLUTION: A specific sulfosuccinic acid-based surface-active agent is used as an effective constituent of this foaming agent. The specific sulfosuccinic acid-based surface-active agent is alkyl amide sulfosuccinate of which the alkyl group is an octadecenyl group, that is, octadecenyl amide sulfosuccinate.
