<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent element capable of reducing an area of a non-light-emission part while reducing luminance unevenness. <P>SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent element comprises a first electrode 12 made of a transparent conductive film, a second electrode 14 with smaller sheet resistance than the first electrode 12, and an organic EL layer 13 including a light-emission part and interposed between the first electrode 12 and the second electrode 14. It comprises a first terminal part 22 arranged on a side of the light-emission part 11 and electrically connected to the first electrode 12, a second terminal part 24 arranged on a side of the light-emission part 11 on a side opposite to the first terminal part 22 at the light-emission part 11, and electrically connected to the second electrode 14, and an auxiliary electrode 15 made of a material with smaller specific resistance than the first electrode 12, laminated on the first electrode 12 on the side of the light-emission part 11, and electrically connected to the first terminal part 22. The auxiliary electrode 15 is arranged along a circumferential direction of the light-emission part 11, and thickness of the auxiliary electrode 15 is varied so that sheet resistance gets bigger as it is away from the first terminal part 22 in the circumferential direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
