<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the length of a dual axial gap type rotary machine along the rotation shaft direction to reduce the thickness and form the rotary machine into a flat shape. <P>SOLUTION: A rotor is composed of a rotor core 101, a rotor shaft 102, and permanent magnets 103a, 103b. The rotor is housed in a case 105. Multiple stator core pieces 121 are evenly spaced along the circumferential direction in the case 105. Each stator core piece 121 around which a coil 122 is wound has both end surfaces along the axial direction fixed to inner peripheral surfaces of brackets 105a, 105b of the case 105. This structure eliminates the need of a yoke of a stator and shortens the length along the rotation shaft, thereby reducing the thickness and forming a rotary machine into a flat shape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
