<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stabilized composition of candesartan cilexetil having excellent environmental stability by improving all of temperature stability, humidity stability and photostability of candesartan cilexetil and a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The composition comprises candesartan cilexetil and at least any sugar of mannitol and lactose and is obtained by kneading a mixture of the candesartan cilexetil and the sugar with water or a water-containing organic solvent to give wet powder and compression molding the powder.
