<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable device capable of maintaining a waterproof function for a long period of time. <P>SOLUTION: A portable device includes a housing constituting a case 2 having an opening 1 and a case lid 3 that covers the opening 1. A groove 5 is provided on the case 2 along an outer periphery of the opening 1 at a position opposite to the case lid 3. A packing 7 that is inserted into and closes the groove 5 is provided on the case lid 3 at a position corresponding to the groove 5 of the case 2 so as to protrude from the case lid 3. The groove 5 includes: an inner wall 5b that is a wall at a position close to the center of the opening 1; an outer wall 5a that is a wall at a position far from the center of the opening 1; and a bottom surface 5c disposed between the inner wall 5b and the outer wall 5a. The packing 7 includes: an inner surface 7b that is in contact with the inner wall 5b of the groove 5; an outer surface 7a that is in contact with the outer wall 5a of the groove 5; and an end 7c opposing to the bottom surface 5c. The inner surface 7b of the packing 7 is inclined in a direction in which a distance to the outer surface 7a increases as it approaches a surface of the case lid 3 from the end 7c of the packing 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
