<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate as much as possible the risk of injuries when a person comes into contact with an outer solar cell panel of a solar cell array installed on a rooftop, etc. <P>SOLUTION: A panel frame 2 of a solar cell panel 1 is covered with a long buffer pad 3a, a corner buffer pad 3b and a coupling buffer pad 3c which are integrally formed into a soft member of thermoplastic elastomer having excellent weather resistance. The buffer pads 3a, 3b and 3c are integrally formed and provided with an intersecting piece 31, a contacting piece 32 and a cover piece 35 arranged to have an L-shaped cross section. The contacting piece 32 has a bent rib 33 forming a recessed groove 34 which covers the panel frame 2 irrespective of the presence or absence of a fixing fin 23 of the panel frame 2. The bent rib 33 serves as an internal buffer portion of the buffer pad 3a to enhance a buffer function of the buffer pad 3a, thereby effectively preventing injuries and protecting the solar cell panel 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
