<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leveling method of charged coal capable of uniformly leveling the upper level of coal over the overall length of a coke oven carbonization chamber by a simple operation of a leveler and increasing productivity. <P>SOLUTION: In the leveling method of charged coal, the upper face of the coal 20 charged from a supply port 13 into the carbonization chamber 10 of the coke oven is leveled by the leveler 30 which is inserted from a front wall 13 of the carbonization chamber 10 to reciprocate along the oven length direction within a predetermined time. The leveler 30 is moved at a fixed speed and, at the same time, inserted from the front wall 13 to the vicinity of a back wall 15 inside surface, reciprocated repeatedly to the position within a distance shorter than a half of the oven length L from the back wall 15 inside wall, and lastly removed via the front wall 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
