摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid abnormal combustion in a high-load area in a spark-ignited gasoline engine 1 having a high compression ratio in which a geometric compression ratio is set relatively high. <P>SOLUTION: When an operation state of an engine body is in a low-speed area, a controller (PCM10) drives a fuel-pressure variable mechanism (high-pressure fuel supplying system 62) so that a fuel pressure may be higher in the high-load area than in a low-load area, and drives an in-cylinder injection valve (direct injector 67) so that at least fuel injection that is performed at timing within a retard period from a later phase of a compression stroke to an initial phase of a dilation stroke is included in the high-load area. The controller 10 further drives an ignition plug 25 so as to perform ignition at timing after fuel ejection within the retard period in the high-load area. The controller 10 further executes fuel injection during an admission stroke or increases the amount of fuel ejected by fuel ejection during an intake stroke when the operation state of the engine body is in a medium-speed area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
