<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for suppressing signal noise caused by a printing head control signal. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming device forms an image on a printing medium by the printing head. The image forming device includes: an identification unit identifying all of split line data as white data wherein the plurality of split-line data are made by splitting one line data constituting the image; and a controller transmitting, to the printing head, a printing head control signal in which a data signal and a clock signal of the split lines are in an off state, when the identification unit identifies all of the split lines as the white data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
