<p>Provided is a flux capable of improving solderability without the addition of a halogen. The present invention is a flux to which is added an organic acid and an imidazole derivative or an organic amine as a combination that acts as an activator in lieu of a halide, and the flux is blended with a lead-free solder powder to produce a solder paste. The organic acid is preferably any of glutaric acid, adipic acid, azelaic acid, glycolic acid, diglycolic acid, picolinic acid or 2-phenylsuccinic acid, and the added quantity thereof is preferably 0.5 to 5.0 mass %. The imidazole derivative or organic amine is preferably any of 2-methylimidazole, 2-ethylimidazole, 2-phenylimidazole or diphenylguanidine, and the added quantity thereof is preferably 0.5 to 3.0 mass %.</p> |
