The system has an electric motor (2) individually associated with a wheel (R) of a car, where the electric motor drives the wheel by a transmission mechanism. The electric motor is rigidly connected to a shock absorber body (4) associated with the wheel so as to constitute minimal suspended mass due to its rigid connection with the shock absorber body. The electrical motor is connected to the shock absorber body such that an output shaft of the electric motor is approximately parallel to a longitudinal axis of the shock absorber body.
