The invention relates to a syringe having a syringe cylinder (5), and a needle attachment piece (7) provided on a distal end (D) of the syringe cylinder (5), wherein the syringe (1) has a closure (3) comprising a closure cap (9) which closes and seals the needle attachment piece (7) and a securing cap (11), wherein the securing cap (11) engages around the closure cap (9) and is fastened by means of a retaining ring (13) on the needle attachment piece (7). The syringe is characterised in that at least the securing cap (11) and the closure cap (9) are formed as one piece.
