<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of simply manufacturing a sulfonated organic pigment salt water nature dispersion that exerts excellent dispersibility and storage stability in an aqueous medium, and exerts excellent dischargeability, image density, hue, and chroma when used for aqueous inks such as an inkjet ink. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the sulfonated organic pigment salt water nature dispersion is characterized as follows.
