<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to arbitrarily specify a destination of history information indicating the history of the operation of program information when program information such as application software is used by being installed in an image processing apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: When application created by use of a terminal device 1 is installed, a destination of log information is set by use of a UI panel 30 and a receiving unit 32 receives application and installs the same so as to be ready for use. The installed application is stored in a storage unit 37. A management unit 31 manages the installed application and destination of log information by being associated with each other.
