<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform recording control of various pieces of data during photographing in accordance with a change of a distance between an intrusion object and a main subject. <P>SOLUTION: Defocus information is acquired for a prescribed period even after acquirement of photographed image data by a photographing operation. When the distance between the intrusion object and the main subject is detached with time lapse after acquirement of the photographed image data, the intrusion object is determined to be that crossing a field unrelated to the main subject. When the distance between the intrusion object and the main subject is not detached with the time lapse after the acquirement of the photographed image data and is within the vicinity of a main subject region, the intrusion object is determined to be a part of the main subject entering the field later in terms of time.
