The method involves forming a flat material layer from multiple adjacently arranged threads and the material layer is fixed by a knitting process. The driving needles (4) of the material layer pierces in a working cycle and laying needles (5) cooperates for formation of loops. The driving needles are twice consecutively set in the same direction. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an apparatus for producing a thread fabric; and (2) a threaded fabric has a material layer with a solidification, where multiple knitting yarns are arranged in distributed manner in width direction of the thread fabric.
