<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of easily and surely joining members formed of Al and Al or Al and a different metal, and to provide a joint structure. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes soldering and joining, by use of solder for Al by fitting a male portion 10 to a female portion 8, a first member 6 made of Al, a second member 5 made of Al or a different metal harder than Al, the male portion 10 formed in either the first member 6 or the second member 5, and the female portion 8 formed in the other, to each other. A projection 11 is formed on the outside of the male portion 10, and the female portion 8 is formed at such a size that the projection 11 and the inside of a hole may be overlapped on a projection view projected in the axial direction. After a solder for Al is applied to the male portion 10, the male portion 10 is press-fitted into the female portion 8 at higher temperature than the melting point of the solder for Al. In this case, Al constituting a member in the overlapping portion of the male portion 10 and the female portion 8 is physically cut, and a newly appeared surface of Al and the opposite surface of the other member are joined with each other by solder for Al. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
