<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent element having a high luminous efficiency and a long life, especially a white light-emitting organic electroluminescent element exhibiting excellent color rendering properties and having a stabilized chromaticity even with a low drive voltage. <P>SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent element 100 has a pair of electrodes 2, 8, and a coated organic functional layer 20 of at least two layers including a luminous layer 5 on a substrate 1.
