<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus which is provided with a light emitter that utilizes an optical guide for illuminating a design display unit to cause light to be emitted to the periphery of an operating unit, so as to permit satisfactory operation of the operating unit even at night or when the surroundings are otherwise dark, without adding any extra component. <P>SOLUTION: A display apparatus mounted with a switch 41 on a circuit board 40 has an optical guide 11 that is arranged on the front side of the switch, has a through hole 101 and guides light from a light source 20. The optical guide 11 has a diffuser 13 thereon that diffuses light traveling within the optical guide 11 and a low refractive index part 14 whose refractive index is lower than that of the optical guide 11. A design display 12 has a light emitter 121 that emits light, an operating unit 30 extends via the through hole 101 toward the front side of the optical guide 11, the light emitter 121 is disposed on the periphery of the through hole 101 and the diffuser 13 is arranged in an area corresponding to the light emitter 121. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
