<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery structure including a laminate cell, capable of easily specifying gas leakage from an external packaging body. <P>SOLUTION: A battery structure comprises: one or a plurality of laminate cells; and an external packaging body housing the one or the plurality of laminate cells, and pressurizes and keeps the one or the plurality of laminate cells by filling gas into a space inside the external packaging body.
