摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the deterioration of image quality even if there is a displacement in a landing position of fluids in a region in which nozzle rows overlap. <P>SOLUTION: A fluid ejection device includes: (A) a first nozzle row where first nozzles for ejecting the fluids are arranged in a predetermined direction; (B) a second nozzle row where second nozzles for ejecting the fluids are arranged in a predetermined direction, the second nozzle row being arranged so as to form an overlapping region where one end in the predetermine direction overlaps with the other end of the first nozzle row in the predetermined direction; and (C) a controller for causing the fluids to be ejected so that in respective plurality of raster lines arranged in the predetermined direction in the overlapping region, dots to be formed are apportioned between the first nozzles and the second nozzles. On the raster lines in the overlapping region, the fluids are ejected so as to produce pixel where both dots the first nozzles form and dots the second nozzles form are formed to be overlapped, and pixel where either the dots the first nozzles form or the dots the second nozzles form are formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
