<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a velocity pattern to be accurately predicted even for a road on which a user does not travel before. <P>SOLUTION: A road gradient acquisition section 37 acquires a road gradient of each link along a search route. An operation state prediction section 38 predicts time-series data on an acceleration operation state at each link based on a state transition probability of the acceleration operation state learnt for each state of road gradient as well as the acquired road gradient. A velocity pattern generation section 40 predicts time-series data on velocity at each link based on a relation between the road gradient learnt for each acceleration operation state and the acceleration, the acquired road gradient and the predicted time-series data on the acceleration operation state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
