<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular instrument which prevents a driver from pressing it long during traveling and contributes to driving safety by regulating the driver from initializing the display information of a trip meter, average fuel consumption, etc. during the traveling of the vehicle and by notifying to the driver that the initialization is regulated. <P>SOLUTION: A control means has a regulating process (S4) in which a reset operation (S1) of initializing the display information of a distance driven etc. is regulated when a vehicle is determined to be in traveling on the basis of vehicle information indicating traveling conditions of the vehicle.
