<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus that can stably supply an observation window with a surface acoustic wave for removing contamination adhering to the observation window without deteriorating conversion efficiency (deflection) into the surface acoustic wave. <P>SOLUTION: The endoscope apparatus 1 includes: the observation window 32 provided at an insertion end 11 of an endoscope 2 for the observation window 32 to face an imaging optical system 34; an oscillator 37 arranged on an inner surface of the observation window 32; and a deflector 40 for deflecting an ultrasonic vibration f from the oscillator 37 into the surface acoustic wave Φ transmitting on an outer surface of the observation window 32 so that a groove filler 61 having a material different from the observation window 32 is filled in a plurality of grooves 40a formed in an outer surface of the observation window 32 facing the oscillator 37. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
