METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING CAPSULE FIBER TREATMENT AGENT CONTAINING CAPSULE PARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a fiber treatment agent containing capsule particles in which the viscosity of an emulsion used as a base may be stably kept high after preparation without newly using a viscosity adjusting agent or a dispersant and capsule particles may be stably dispersed in the treatment agent.

SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a fiber treatment agent containing capsule particles comprises: an oil phase preparing step of mixing a cationic surfactant and a nonionic surfactant to obtain an oil phase; a water phase preparing step of obtaining a water phase including water as a principal component; a first emulsifying step of mixing the oil phase and the water phase to obtain a first emulsion; a second emulsifying step of mixing the first emulsion obtained in the first emulsifying step with a nonionic surfactant in an amount 0.1 to 10 times (by mass) as much as an amount of the nonionic surfactant mixed in the oil phase preparing step to obtain a second emulsion; and a capsule particle mixing step of mixing the second emulsion obtained in the second emulsifying step with capsule particles each comprising a core substance encapsulated with a water-insoluble polymer compound.
