<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device having high use efficiency of a foamy fixing liquid and capable of simplifying the structure, an image forming device equipped with the fixing device, a fixing method for using the foamy fixing liquid and an image forming method using the fixing device. <P>SOLUTION: A fixing device comprises foamy fixing liquid producing means 30 for producing a foamy fixing liquid 45 containing a softener for softening fine particles T containing a resin by dissolving or swelling a part of the resin, a foamy fixing liquid holding member 41 for holding the foamy fixing liquid 45 produced by the foamy fixing liquid producing means 30 and spraying means 60 for spraying an atomized liquid to the foamy fixing liquid 45 for increasing the density on the surface side of the foamy fixing liquid 45 held by the foamy fixing liquid holding member 41 and applies the foamy fixing liquid 45, which is held by the foamy fixing liquid holding member 41 to which the atomized liquid is sprayed by the spraying means 60, to the fine particles T on a medium P to fix the fine particles on the medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
