<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner that is free from filming and has excellent low-temperature fixability, high-temperature offset resistance, heat-resistant storage property and blocking resistance of a toner image after fixing, and to provide a developer containing the toner. <P>SOLUTION: A toner comprises a crystalline polyester resin, a non-crystalline polyester resin, a crystal nucleating agent, a release agent and a colorant. The crystal nucleating agent comprises an aliphatic ester compound or an aliphatic amide compound having a melting point of 60°C or higher and less than 150°C. In DSC measurement in a range of 0 to 200°C, the lowest exothermic peak temperature Tp of the crystalline polyester resin, the lowest exothermic peak temperature Tc of the nucleating agent, and the lowest exothermic peak temperature Tm of a mixture of the crystalline polyester resin and the nucleating agent satisfy the relationship expressed by Tc>Tp+10 and Tm>Tp+2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
