<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molded cylindrical article having an opening on a side surface, achieving high strength, and hardly being damaged even by application of high internal pressure. <P>SOLUTION: A resin composition comprising a thermoplastic resin and a fibrous filler is used for a raw material of the molded cylindrical article. Preferably, a liquid crystalline polyester is used as the thermoplastic resin. Preferably, a glass fiber is used as the fibrous filler.
