<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism capable of outputting an image at an arbitrary position in a video, without interpretation of index information with respect to all the pieces of video data, in video reproduction of plural channels. <P>SOLUTION: A video recording apparatus 300 comprises: an input part to which video data of plural channels is inputted; encoding parts 302 and 303 which in the case of compression encoding, with a variable bit rate, of the video data of the plural channels inputted by the input part, equalizes the GOP structures and frame sizes of the video data of the plural channels and performs compression encoding of the video data of the plural channels; and video writing-out parts 305 and 306 for recording the video data of the plural channels subjected to the compression encoding. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
