<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image projection apparatus which stably performs a predetermined amount of an electric shift drive of a projection optical system regardless of temperature. <P>SOLUTION: An image projection apparatus 100 comprises: a projection optical system 1a for projecting light modulated by a light modulation element LP on a projected surface; shift mechanisms 3, 5 and 7 for moving the projection optical system with respect to the light modulation element in a direction orthogonal to a light axis of the projection optical system; actuators 10x and 10y for driving the shift mechanisms; a controller 60 for controlling the actuators; a memory 70 for storing a parameter used in order that the controller controls the actuators to drive the shift mechanisms for a predetermined amount corresponding to a movement instruction of the projection optical system; and a temperature detection device 50 for detecting a temperature. The controller changes a parameter read out of the memory to keep a predetermined amount of the drive of the shift mechanisms corresponding to the movement instruction according to a temperature detected by the temperature detection device, and controls the actuators using the changed parameter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
