<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printer capable of reducing an amount of bubbles existing in an ink tank. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet printer 1 includes: the ink tank 2 for storing ink; a print head 3 which jets ink supplied from the ink tank 2 to a surface of a print medium P; and an ink recovery system 4 which collects waste ink Kr not used for printing, out of ink jetted from the print head 3, and returns it to the ink tank 2. The ink recovery system 4 includes: a pre-stage collected-ink receiving tank 44 arranged at an upstream side relative to the ink tank 2 in the ink recovery direction; a bubbling prevention unit 5 for reducing bubbling of ink when being collected into the pre-stage collected-ink receiving tank 44; a connecting pipe 12 which communicate a bottom of the pre-stage collected-ink receiving tank 44 with a bottom of the ink tank 2; and a bubble elimination heater 90 or a bubble elimination heater 90A, which eliminates bubbles in the pre-stage collected-ink receiving tank 44 by means of heating. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
