<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-component development device suppressing the influence of fluctuation in height of a developer in a development housing to allow a stable amount of the developer to be attracted onto a development roller, and minimizing an amount of the developer to be transported to a development zone to a degree that can develop without trouble, and reducing a pooled amount of the developer in an upstream side zone of a developer regulation member to reduce stress applied to the developer. <P>SOLUTION: A two-component development device includes a development housing, a development roller, a magnetic field generation body, a developer transport member, and a developer regulation member. A developer guide member is disposed in an upstream side zone of the developer regulation member. A plurality of developer supply amount restriction openings are formed and arranged in a portion of the guide member facing the developer transport member. The openings are each formed so that developer attraction force caused by magnetic force of the magnetic field generation body acting on the developer at the opening becomes larger than gravitational force acting on the developer. The guide member provides a developer supply path between itself and the development roller and a developer reflow path between itself and an inner surface of the development housing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
