A functional training rig kit includes a box and a plurality of components adapted to fit within the box. The components include at least two posts adapted to extend in an upright direction from the box, the posts, each having a length greater than the longest dimension of the box, include at least two elongate members dimensioned to fit within the box and adapted to be removably fastened together to form one of the posts. A bar is adapted to extend transversely between adjacent posts, the bar being dimensioned to fit within the box. At least one angled support member is provided for each of the posts. Each support member is adapted to fit within the box and is configured so that, at least when the functional training kit is assembled, the support member is secured to one of the posts and supports the post relative to a ground surface. |
