<p>An ink cartridge (1) for an inkjet printer comprises an ink storage chamber, an ink outlet (2), and an air inlet (8). The ink storage chamber includes an ink detection chamber (4) and an ink replenishing chamber (3) which is relatively closed and has an opening at its lower portion. Both an assembly for detecting ink residual amount and the opening of the ink replenishing chamber (3) are disposed in the ink detection chamber (4). The ink cartridge has simple construction, low cost and low manufacturing difficulty.</p> |
