<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for resin welding which can control deterioration of the welding strength of resin welded products. <P>SOLUTION: The resin welding method comprises putting, between resin plates M1 and M2, an absorbent 2 which absorbs the laser beam and emits light when irradiated with the laser beam, irradiating the absorbent 2 with the laser beam so as to make the intensity of emission of the absorbent 2 within a predetermined range and welding the resin plates M1 and M2 with the heat generated by the absorbent 2 having absorbed the laser beam in order to produce a resin welded product P. The tensile strengths of the resin plates M1 and M2 are increased with increasing intensity of emission of the absorbent 2 so as to ensure sufficient tensile strength when the intensity of emission is within the predetermined range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
