PURPOSE: A combustion control method for avoiding a resonant sound section is provided not to move to the resonant sound section until the predetermined quantity of heat is supplied. CONSTITUTION: A combustion control method for avoiding a resonant sound section is as follows. If the quantity of heat calculated at the initiatory stage is larger than the maximum heat quantity of small-scale combustion, large-scale combustion is performed while first and second solenoid valves are opened. If the quantity of the heat calculated at the initiatory stage is less than the maximum heat quantity of the small-scale combustion, the small scale combustion is performed while the first solenoid valve is only opened. The present quantity of the heat of a burner is more than the maximum heat quantity of the small-scale combustion, middle scale combustion is performed. The first and second solenoid valves are opened to perform the large scale combustion if the whole quantity of the heat is more than or not same as the maximum heat quantity of resonant sound. If the present quantity of the heat is less than the maximum heat quantity of the resonant sound, the middle scale combustion is maintained.
