The pouring nozzle (30) has pouring channel consisting of inlet orifice (18) formed through a surface (16) of plate (34), a bore in the plate, and a bore in tube (38). The outlets (46) are arranged symmetrically on either side of axis (40) of tube. The centers of outlets on either side of axis of tube, are configured to define an axis (48) of outlets orthogonal to axis of tube. The axis of outlets is parallel to a pair of sides of the plate. The orifice is oblong such that the minor axis (44) of orifice is parallel to axis of outlets. An independent claim is included for pouring nozzle assembly. |
