The device has a video processing module (210) to process a part of audiovisual data constituting a part of a digital service coming from a digital set top box (20), and a screen (211) to reproduce an output of parts of the service. The reproduction and processing times of the data introduce a delay into the output of the reproduced data. An extended display identification data EPROM memory (213) informs the box of the introduced delay.
