SUPPORTING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DIGITAL-OBJECT-IDENTIFIER REGISTRATION

PURPOSE: A system for supporting a digital object identifier registration and a method thereof are provided to easily processing oversea distribution by registering domestic academic information in an online digital object identifier. CONSTITUTION: A registration support device receives information for a target thesis received from academic societies(S210). The registration support device issues DOI for the target thesis based on a DOI prefix for the academic societies(S220). the DOI is a digital object identifier. The registration support device generates the XML for deposit by using metadata of the target thesis according to a deposit schema(S230). The registration support device registers the XML for deposit in a DOI management group(S240). The registration support device provides a response service for a registration result(S250).
