PURPOSE: An apparatus for preventing hearing impairment from a car stereo is provided to control a car stereo in a silent mode by using the electric field intensity of a radio signal when passing through a fringe area. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus(100) for preventing hearing impairment from a car stereo comprises an input/output terminal unit(110), an electric field intensity detection unit(120), and a comparison and control unit(130). The input/output terminal unit is connected to a USB interface unit(70). The electric field intensity detection unit detects the electric field intensity of a radio signal in a radio receiving unit inputted through the input/output terminal unit in real time. The comparison and control unit outputs a control signal according to the electric field intensity of a currently received radio signal in a silent mode or a normal mode to the input/output terminal unit by comparing electric field intensity which is detected from the electric field intensity detection unit in real time. |
